Cook Train Eat Race – Webisode 2 – Peanut Butter Oat Cookies

Cook Train Eat Race TV has filmed and edited its second webisode.   This show features a peanut butter oat cookie recipe that is simple to make but very tasty.

The recipe is at the end of the video but you don’t want to skip to the end because there is a funny scene in here that I did not edit out onto the cutting room floor.

Enjoy and as always your feedback is well appreciated.

  2. Okay I must have looked away because when did you add the egg??

These videos are fun to watch and I would make these cookies but I like birthday cake oreos way too much. Just kidding. These look great, I am going to try them but might have to replace raisins with chocolate chips. Did you eat the one that fell on the floor or did Ginga get it?

I added the egg as the last ingredient. If you want to keep this vegan then making a flax egg would work not to mention the extra protein and fiber from the flax meal.

Birthday Cake Oreos……haha! You sure you don’t want to make the Christmas Day Oreo or the Channakuh Day Oreo or the New Years Day Oreo your favorite instead?

And I did eat that cookie that feel but luckily enough for me it fell on the counter and not the floor…..Ginga lost out.

And lastly, definitely substitute chocolate chips but the baking time will be less because you don’t want the chips to just melt everywhere.

I really like that you show what it should look like. That’s so helpful – especially with baking. These look awesome.

And, Peanut Butter…. nothing else needs to be said.

  4. I’m going to try this one for my kids. This is really healthy and the best part of this recipe is that it is just easy to do. You just need less than an hour for preparation. Thanks for posting this detailed video.

Thank you Noreen. One thinkg I would suggest is a little less cooking time for the raisins and you can even swap out the raisins for chocolate chips and then in that case go even shorter in baking time.
