I AM a Tough Chik!

No, not me.  I don’t think I’m tough enough to be a Tough Chik but my wife is.  I am very proud of her accomplishment for selection to this terrific team.  So with that as way of introduction here is Karen in her own words:

My New Team and I AM a Tough Chik!

So… Here I am invading Jason’s site again..but this time for good!  Jason and I discussed my interest to blog, and also my limited time and we decided I could have a little space within his site about ME!  Of course I will not spend too much time telling you about the scarf I made, or what kind of yarn I got for my next project or how Jason actually enjoyed going to Hobby Lobby with me to pick out yarn, but I will tell you about being a Tough Chik. I am now officially on Team Tough Chik. I actually saw the shout out for teammates on Twitter and asked Jason to reach out to two super athletes Jen and Mandy, that are also Tough Chiks and asked questions about the team. Mandy answered several questions – and her last statement was “This works for you!” and with that statement – I felt confident that I should go for it.  I am so happy I did – Shannon with Tough Chik is awesome, and the clothes are so cute, and of course I have a small addiction to Head Sweats visors, so that helped close the deal so stay tuned for more updates as I head into 2012 with Team Tough Chik, and maybe since I DO have the password for this site now – I will add pumpkin to all the recipes, and change all the race results for Jason’s races to ensure I am faster than him…

There is Karen’s Korner in the top menu navigation bar.  I am in the process of setting it up to have race results, race reports, blog and any other drop downs she wants to add as she moves along in this process.
I am very proud of you Karen and look forward to you becoming a triathlete in 2012 because I know how Tough you are.
